Water Heaters

man installing a water heater
Are you actually getting what you are looking for out of your water heater? Out here in Irvine, we don’t tend to hear a lot of people complaining that they are not getting enough power from their water heaters. Other than people who run hotels and things of that nature. What we get the most are complaints about water heaters being very costly to operate. Older equipment, mostly gas-powered or electrically powered is usually not energy efficient. Keeping it around can at times be more costly than just getting a new water heater. This is kind of the dilemma that we tend to help many people navigate through.

What Type of Water Heaters Can You Install or Fix?
This is certainly one of, if not the question that we get the most when it comes to water heaters. The answer is really simple. We are going to be able to help you fix and install all sorts of water heaters. Although the source of power, if you will, is different from one type of water heater to the next, the way that they operate is pretty much the same. That is not to say that we haven’t trained our crew to be able to handle all sorts of heaters. The fact though, that they operate in a similar fashion really helps.

Which Type of Water Heater is The Best
We truly believe that even though technology development will essentially push out natural gas water heaters for example, there is still going to be a place for them for some time still. When you go to actually choose a water heater you should probably be thinking more about your particular usage of the heater than anything else. Getting a heater for example that can give you hot water from the moment you turn the dial, can help save a lot of water. Even if the energy consumption is greater. In the end, it is about which one is the best for you.

Can Solar Heaters Work Locally
Southern California is a place where virtually anything solar is going to work just fine. Here in Irvine, we are not getting as much sun as Palm Springs, but for the amount of energy that you need to have your water heater running, it is really no big deal. Some people have electric backups. You can or can’t have that. Usually, it can be a good idea just in case anything goes wrong.

How Much Money Can I Really Save?
This is another one of the questions that we get often. In typical residential usage especially around this area, you are not going to see a major difference. When you add the pennies on the dollar though, over the years usually going solar is worth it. If you run a business for example you may or may not want to upgrade. For restaurants, it can be great, you won’t need a lot of hot water for hand washing or even dishwashing. For hotels you probably need something more reliable, so even if you could actually see a lot of benefits from solar heaters, you may want to stick with a gas-powered or a hybrid. Just based on the fact that they are typically more durable and reliable for everyday use.
